An honest look at Marie Forleo's program whether your career reset has already arrived, or you're still in the corporate world quietly wondering what's next.

If you've heard of B-School, it was probably from someone who already runs a business. That's who most of the reviews I read were written by and for: the designers, the coaches, the course creators looking to grow what they've built.

This review in progress is meant to be a little different. It's for the woman circling the same quiet question I carried for years: could my next chapter be something of my own? Maybe you're deep in a career reset right now. Or maybe you're still working full time, and this is the idea you keep coming back to on Sunday nights. I know both versions of that woman, because I've been both. While I was working, I followed Marie Forleo for years. I read her, listened to her, even took her Copy Cure program and loved her approach and content. But B-School always stayed in the "nice to have" and ''one day'' column. There was never a right time. Then my corporate chapter ended, and I'll admit it: B-School was one of the first things that came to mind as what to do next. Suddenly, there were no more excuses, only the question of whether it would actually be worth it. And more importantly: was it really for someone like me, who's been employed all her life, climbing the corporate ladder, never thinking of herself as an "entrepreneur" let alone an "online entrepreneur"?

Maybe you have an idea you've carried for years. Maybe you have multiple ideas (Marie Forleo's audience seems to fall into this category) and no way to choose among them. Maybe you have nothing yet but a strong sense that you're not done and that maybe, just maybe, this is worth a shot. You don't need a business idea or plan to read this. You don't need a niche, an audience (an "ICA," as she calls it), or any of the vocabulary. You just need to be honestly curious about whether building something of your own belongs in your next chapter and whether this particular program is a wise place to start.

Why I'm reviewing it this way

B-School is one of the best-known online business programs in the market. It has credibility, longevity, and thousands of glowing testimonials. But the real questions I keep coming back to are the ones no testimonial can really answer: is it for ME, and is it worth the investment of time and money?

And here's what makes those questions hard to answer: B-School opens for enrolment only in rare, limited windows, and that combination creates a very particular kind of noise: countdown timers, bonus stacks, and glowing reviews, all arriving at once, all asking you to decide quickly. I know exactly what that noise does. For years, it's what kept me from deciding at all. By the time I'd cut through it, the window had closed.

Here's what I'm bringing to this review instead. I spent more than 25 years as a media executive. Creating, evaluating, and pitching campaigns and programs for a living, deciding what would actually deliver the best ROI. I know what a strong program looks like from the inside, and I know every trick used to sell a weak one. So I'm reviewing B-School the way I would have in my corporate days: with full due diligence, on your behalf. What's actually inside, what it demands of you, and who genuinely benefits.

And I'm doing what no quick recommendation can: I'm retaking the entire program with fresh eyes and one reader in mind. A woman with decades of professional experience, real questions, and a next chapter to design.

What I'll be looking at

As I move through the program, I'll be weighing the questions that actually matter at this stage:

• What makes this program unique and worthwhile (style, approach, etc.)

• What does it truly require in terms of time, energy, and investment and what does it give back?

• Who is this genuinely for, and who should skip it? Because no program is for everyone, and an honest review says so.

• You're among your own. Women at our stage, with careers behind them and a next chapter ahead. No explaining yourself, no being the only one in the room who didn't grow up online.

• You think out loud. Every module lands differently when you can ask, "How does this apply to someone like us?" and hear how other sharp women are answering it.
